10 cards from Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon that I would laugh if I cast

There are just weeks left to play cards from 2016! The sets were wildly innovative but they were also clamped down by some wickedly powerful staples. At this point I don't care if I win, I just want to cast some of these cards.

This list demonstrates the 'numbered' style. With numbered and ordered lists, you can reorder the items. This toolset also has randomized lists..

Yep, I now know how to spell this offhand. I definitely see this as a legit win-con, and the fact that it can gain you life shouldn't be overlooked completely. But I also think it might be able to throw at least some confusion, sideways lines of play, and best of all, dread into the match.

It's a wall big enough to block Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Kozilek, the Great Distortion

What's not to love? The deck would play differently every time, or it might actually discourage the opponent from casting their own spells!

This is where my head's at when I'm brewing, and I'd love to surprise someone with a card they're not expecting, with a cute name and nice art that kinda reminds me of Ice Age.

There are several indestructible threats throughout the metagame. Disposing of two would be obvious cause for a laugh, especially if I were able to leverage both the sacrifice (Smothering Abomination) and the discard (Incorrigible Youths obvi)

Exert is a mechanic I loved from day one, and the prospect of blowing away 2-3 creatures, gaining a dozen life, and stealing a couple extra exert bonuses seems like it would be so sweet, especially since I'm guessing no one will ever anticipate a 4-mana combat trick. It could also provide quite the defensive maneuver, almost like a fog, which is another tactic I enjoy.

Oh, did you forget about me again? I'm just skulking over here. I'm all the way down for Ramunap Excavator, Splendid Reclamation, and The Gitrog Monster. Yes, I have things to prove. Yes, I have only a few weeks left of this Standard. I know, I'm aware of my fraying sanity.

At this stage of my life in my cocoon where I brew, I don't savor removal as much as playing my own threats, so the opportunity to knock off multiple things with one card (sort of) appealed to me a lot. Especially because, at this stage in my cocoon metamorphosis, I'm trying to come to grips with planeswalkers and being able to kill them rather than just lose and get salty. I think I may have touched it but I haven't cast it.

This would have been the ultimate told-you-so to the pros if it had ever found a home (gee, I wonder where that would have been). I mean, doming players is so rare these days, and it replaces itself!

At this point it doesn't matter who wins, only how many masses can permeate the battlefield.

Enjoy the final months of madness and delirium!
